ICOM Costume Paper Sessions.

All speakers for Costume paper sessions and join session with the international committees Glass and
ICDAD need to register as well.
Call for Posters should be announced by 25th May, those already accepted for the poster session should
register also.

There is no extra conference fee for Costume conference and activities. Everything is included in the
general conference fee without extra costs for participants (except for the post conference tour). Our
committee as all other international committees is following the general conference program of events.
Our separate program is organised by our hosts in Prague at the Museum of Decorative Arts and ICOM
General Conference organizers at the Congress Centre. Our colleague Konstantina Hlaváčková, exhibition’s
curator will present for our off site meeting on Thursday 25th ‘The Power of Lace: Lace – Art – Garment’.

ICOM Costume 60th Anniversary Ceremony

ICOM Costume will have its 60th Anniversary Ceremony at the French Cultural Institute in the centre of
Prague on Thursday 25th August from 6 PM. This event is co-organised with the French Embassy in Czech
Republic.
The excursion day is on Friday 26th August and it is recommended we all embark on the historical train to
Brno. This excursion is included in the general conference fee.

Post Conference Tour.

Post conference tour is 1 day trip to Česky Krúmlov on Saturday 27th August. This post conference tour is a
separate booking and a special ticket you’ll have to purchase directly to us.
