The most important event this year will be the ICOM Costume Annual Meeting, which will take place in Madrid on 5- 8 October 2026, thanks to the kind invitation of our colleagues at the Museo del Traje. We are currently finalising the conference theme—closely aligned with this year’s International Museum Day theme, “Museums Uniting a Divided World”—as well as preparing the call for papers and developing the programme of museum visits and post-conference tours.
